Merry Christmas

From the staff and Board of Trustees, we want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.  I am looking forward to a good year for the Valley in 2012.  Look for the Tidings to come out right after the new year.  The office will be closed during the week between Christmas and New Year.  You can e-mail me with questions or concerns.

The Rite Place

The membership voted last night to pursue the purchase of a new facility for the Valley of Toledo.  Watch for the Tidings to come out at the end of the month for more details.

ZOO LIGHTS EVENT SOLD OUT

Congratulations for a job well done to get the reservations in for tomorrow’s Zoo Light Event.  We sold all the tickets that we were entitled to.  Hopefully you have yours!  I am looking for a great time tomorrow night.  See you all there.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Watch your mailbox for an invitation to hear about the new facility that we are contemplating.   It will be a time of open discussion about the move.  Light refreshments will be served afterwards.

Christmas at the Zoo

Tickets are going fast for this event.  There are a limited amount of tickets and parking passes available.  Call the office or sign up on this website now!  Don’t be left out.  It is a great deal for the whole family.

Pool Tournament

Hey all you Minnesota Fats wanna be!  There is a pool tournament and lunch just added to the calendar for those who want to do something a little different during the day.  Trust me when I say you don’t have to be a pool shark to enter.  The “Scottish Rite House Rules” makes it even for all players.  Please call the office and let them know that you are coming so that we have enough food. 

 

 

Great Reunion!

A big thanks to all of you for a wonderful Reunion yesterday. We brought in 21 new Scottish Rite Masons in fine fashion. You should all be proud.

 

I just want everyone to know that the Stage Director, Jon Parton, MSA is retiring from that position as of yesterday. Jon has devoted 41 years to helping out with the reunions and I am sure he has seen it all. Jon is a legend here in Toledo and I would like you all to send him a congratulatory and thank you for all that he has done.

Building

There is a meeting for the trustees this Saturday to discuss the future of a new location for the Valley of Toledo’s office and Dyslexia Center.  There are a number of facilities that are on the list that have been looked at.  If you have an idea of a facility that might work for our Valley, please call me at the office and we can discuss what we are thinking we might work for our needs. 

Rite / Shrine Reunion

Don’t forget the combined reunion with Zenobia Shriners this Saturday (October 22^nd) at the Stranahan Theater.  Registration begins at 7:00A.M.  Donuts and coffee is supplied.  There is a hamburg/hotdog lunch and a “Pig Roast” for dinner for a donation.  It’s not too late for new petitions.  See the Tidings, call the office or look in the New Website for more information.
